hi folks
i have had chiropractic therapy for while now and its costing the earth to keep up with the schedule they say is required to keep syptoms at bay.
i have scoliosis and disk compression and reduced disk space in L4 AND L5
and am off work yet again and in pain.
im wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this type of therapy and its benefits.
im not sure if it is doing any good apart from a short term fix cos when i stop going for a while the symtoms come back.

My recommendation would be to halt chiropractic care until you have a full evaluation by a neurosurgeon and/or orthopedic spine surgeon. A chiropractor can not do anything to relieve scoliosis and when you have disc problems chiropractic is not ideal. I did get clearance from my Pain Management doctor and my Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to continue massage therapy. I get this care through a Massage center and not via a chiropractor.
