Does cheesecake rise?

If so i'm gonna have some problems on my hand....I filled the pans to the rim...
 
did u use 2 or 3 cream cheese and how much cream? u have now learned a valuable lesson for those of us who choose to make homemade cheese cake...your pan can only handle so much so now you know where you should tinker with your recipe. Are you adding the sour-cream topping if so that might be a problem, but now you know. i too learned the hard way...but now have it down pat. good luck :)

Yes, but not a ton. You'll probably be ok. By the time they are rising, they are also fairly thick, so they don't tend to run over.
