I've been wondering this for a while now; we all know buying new American cars, or say if you live in Australia buying new Aussie cars helps, living in the UK buying new British cars helps.
But what about used? I'd like my answer from knowledgeable people in the industry, people who have owned both American and import cars for a long periods of time, people who are experts on the economy, or people who just have a good idea of these things.
NO stereotyping, trolling, hating, yahoos PLEASE!! I don't care if you had a bad experience with an American car or a foreign car, that's really not what I'm asking.
Please try to also talk about things like insurance, maintenance; the fact that you would be paying for American parts/servicing, etc.
