I recently painted two pieces of furniture black. I first sanded the wood, then used Kilz primer. I waited the for the primer to dry, then i painted the furniture using Behr eggshell black paint. I waited for the first coat to dry, then put on a second coat. (I applied a thin coat of paint for each coat)
The paint has fully dried but the furniture is very sticky. How long does it take for black paint to dry? Why does black paint take so long to dry? Did I do the painting process wrong?
I need to return the furniture back to it's original place, but I am afraid to put anything on top of it, seeing that the furniture is still very sticky. I can still press my fingers on the table and see my fingerprints in the paint. (It has been 48 hours since I last painted the table)
