does black magic exist, are there any proofs of it from any of the holy books?

I've always been under the impression that magic doesn't exist and it's all wonderfully crafted illusions. I wanted to see if anybody thinks otherwise based on something they've read in the Quran, or in original versions of the other holy books.

if you could provide the verse and book you got your oppinion from it'll be greatly appriciated.

Moses and Aaron were magicians, and challenged the magicians who served Pharaoh. Both Moses and Aaron could change their staffs into serpents and back into staffs again.

BTW, magic is not "black" - magic is neutral, like electricity.

Well many instances in The Bible it mentions condemning witchcraft, which uses magic.

However in the modern world there are many practicing witches who have a different view of magic.

magic is the subtle energies that surround every day life, it is everywhere and it is neither black or white or green or purple, blue gold, striped, plaid, or any other pattern.Magic is energy, like fire. Fire can be used to both help and harm people. it Can heat a home, or burn it down, all depends on how the person wants to use it.So it is not the magic that is "black" or "white", but the user.
