Hi, im an adrogynous gay guy. If i'm in a more rebellious mood i may use the term adrogyne or genderqueer but quite frankly no thats just too confusing. (and generally i find that people who are "genderqueer" are often just transexuals. No, im just a man, who likes other men, and doesn't really exhibit any stereotypically "male" qualities. Most of my friends are straight women, and i dont like appearing too masculine in my appearance (yet dont want boobs either)
.....Anyway the point im getting at is i'm "gender-bending" i guess, but not transexual. Other gay men though are quite masculine. sOME lesbians are butch, some are lipstick. Call these offensive labels but they have some truth to them. but then there are transexuals. What i would like to know is, assuming that transsexualism is an entirely separate phenomenon from homosexuality, why are some gay people (like myself) ultra gender nonconforming and why are some not at all. Is there maybe a rate of masculinization or feminization of the fetus that contributes to these qualities. And also, what makes a transexual soo different from an ultra gender nonconforming gay person like myself. If some gay men are men and some (like me), are practically chicks with dicks, than what makes a person a chick who used to have a dick??? IM SO CONFUSED? is having the operation then a choice or a necessity. am i really just a tranny whose too scared of surgery? i dont mean to offend anyyone, im just confused about certain issues pertaining to gender, that all....
