Does biking help fat loss on the legs?
Does it reduce the fat, increase the muscle, both, neither or something else?

What I'm trying to say is...can I lose leg and butt fat and make them thinner by biking, or will they get bigger due to building muscle and THEN get smaller?
If neither, I'm just looking for some good exercise (besides lunges and stuff) to get my lower half, including hips, thinner.
Did try walking, didn't work.
And I really can't be bothered with herbal products like acai berry, it won't work for me because I don't believe in it ever since watching House. Generally if you don't believe in something it doesn't work.

I guess by biking you mean riding a bicycle....Yes, it would definitely help.

First thank your genes for having heavy legs and butt. You will live longer than people that have their fat in the stomach areas and have thin legs.
Butt and leg fat are highly reactive, that means as you loose weight, from calorie restriction or from aerobic activity like fast biking, you will lose it first in your legs and butt.
Biking will make your thighs (and a bit of calves a butt) more muscular. Having muscles is the best permanent way to keep fat off.
Current research shows that the best way to burn off fat is to do intervals. this means you warm up by biking at a regular speed for at least 5 minutes, you then go all out (really pushing it and out of breath) for 30-40 seconds. then rest by stopping or biking slowly for 2 or 3 minutes You repeat the cycle 4 or 5 times no more than 3 days a week with a rest day in between. You can do simple biking on the off days to stay loose and limber.
