Does bike riding help firm your legs and butt?

Two years ago, when I was in school, I had a bike and would ride it around everyday after school. I notice then, my legs and butt wasn't so jiggly. lol. Could it be from bike riding? If so, if I started riding a bike again, how long would it take until I started seeing results?

I guess it does, yeah. As someone who rides (and races) frequently, I've noticed that since I've been riding (for about five years now) my legs have become firmed and toned and well, the same for my butt, as those are the muscles you work when riding a bike.

If you want to see results, just ride your bike a lot and either forget about wanting results or think of your goal while you ride, and eventually (I could never give an exact estimate) you'll notice some muscle changes.
So, uh, good luck then. :)
