Hi. I know that bicycling on an actual bike is supposed to help your abs as well as your legs. Is the same true of stationary bikes?
Thanks for all the imput! So if I do, say, 20-30 minutes a day on a stationary bike with a highly varied interval level (to burn more calories) and combine this with ab exercises such as crunches, bicycles, etc, will these things come together with results for my abs?

bicycling requires large muscle movement, which originates from the core. so, yes, any cycling motion, bicycle or stationary, will work your abs, but not as much as crunches or ab-specific exercises will. the abs in this case are more of a supporting or secondary muscle group to help the legs.
