Does Betta water conditioner work for other fish?

I have three goldfish and need to clean out the tank. I have betta water conditioner.It says

splendid betta water conditioner

I don't want to hurt my fish~ does it really matter what type of conditioner I use?
 
All of those water conditioners are the same, the pet stores make money by labeling them each as for individual fish so that people will buy more.

So yes.
