I was just looking into TV Licensing overseas and noticed the similarities between the BBC monopolies and Comcast's. Is BBC actually running Comcast and dumbing it down to hook Americans or desensitize us to an upcoming National TV License? Although for what the BBC provides for the license it would be ridiculously cheaper, but for Government purposes (and the fact that Americans will pay whatever the Government tells us to pay) they'd probably raise the price and call it a convenience. What do you think?
