My bamboo i'm growing is "Starbursting" (or branching out)...the leaves are starting to unroll and all...I'm just wondering...do the bamboo culms keep growing upwards even after starbursting? The stalks growing in now are shorter than previous culms, but are about 2x as wide...they should be a bit taller than the older culms right?
So i'm guessing they keep growing vertically after branching out...?
Note: The "previous culms" are about 5 feet tall, the new ones right now are about 8 inches shorter, but 2x wider....it is Moso Bamboo (Phyllostachys Edulis)
