So for a few months now I've really become addicted to the whole 'ASCII' craze. But the kinds of ASCII drawings I've been creating use Arial size 10 font, which isn't the traditional form of ASCII art, which requires a set-width font at any size. I've found my version of ASCII easier because I generally draw people, and recently I've even begun to draw landscapes.
With hours spent on a single piece of work, could these possibly serve any purpose? I don't expect anyone would be interested in decorating their walls with ASCII, so other than providing a bit of fun, I don't really see any reason for me to become too serious about it?
What could ASCII be used for (especially the non-traditional form I draw)?
Here are some examples:

(Make sure you view it full by clicking the 'expand' icon in the bottom right corner of the picture; otherwise it might look messed up!)

(This one is about 4 months old and it's one of the first I did (especially since I normally draw people). It was for a friend's birthday.)
Feedback is also welcome.
