does AP and SAT II tests affect admissions?

How does AP scores affect college admissions (I am asking because i got a 2,2,1). I thought I did well but somehow i didn't. I am a pretty good student with a 3.75 average GPA, a lot of extracurriculars, and a good amount of AP and Honors classes. I am hoping to get into either UCSD or UCLA. ( or maybe Johns Hopkins University, if I am lucky)

How much weight do APs carry as an admission factor

And what carries more weight to admissions APs or SAT II subject tests

Also, I would like to know what is considered a good score for SAT II subject tests.

Thank you.

if you dont send your AP scores in then they wont count but if you did they wont count for that much but it would probably look bad if you didnt get atleast a 3 and had less than a B in the class. SAT II tests are not required for every college but most will still consider them if you send them in. if a college does require SAT II's, then they are pretty important but wont make or break you unless you did really bad. people do pretty well on them so you should try and get atleast a 650

AP and SAT II Subject Tests are completely optional and therefore they don't count towards admissions. What really matters is the grade in the AP and Honors classes you took. Colleges like to see good grades in them. AP courses will give you credit towards a college class (or classes) if you do well on them, but don't affect admissions. SAT I is really important, however. I think you'll do fine with your good grades, honors and AP classes, and lots of extracurriculars. Good luck!!

If you send your AP scores in, they will be considered as a factor. SAT Subject Tests are not optional for the colleges you mentioned, and they will be counted.
It is hard to say what 'weight' colleges place on AP or SAT scores, it probably varies from student to student.
