problems? Jus curious. I know the previous models of the camaro where crapy due to a bunch of problems like their transmittions constantly failing. All I know about the 2010 camaro is that it is actually heavier than other cars which might be a concern..maybe? Not sure how that would be a problem for the car other than suspensions.

So yeh Im jus wondering if the new model will be just like the previous crapy models or if people have gotten smarter and fixed those bugs.

cars will always have problems, thats why they have warranties. New cars are heavy because the government forces them to be heavy. all those airbags and other safety features and all those emission-compliance apparatuses weigh quite a bit. I think the new camaro will be great, if i had the money i would probably buy one

There will be a lot of people that say GM is utter crap and we should find a way to sell it to toyota but since 2000 GM build quality has improved. If you are OK driving a VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo or Nissan the Camaro will be just fine. The new Malibu and CTS are very well built and will be able to compete with Mitsubishi and Nissan very successfully. I'm a VW guy but my family cars have always been GMs and they've been very reliable.

The Camaro will have a curb weight right around 4000 pounds. That is about what a BMW 5 series, Audi A6, and other mid sized luxury sedans weigh. This may seem weird but every car in the last 10 years has become much heavier. The new VW rabbit weighs 3100 pounds (2-door). So its not that heavy and it will have a 100,000 mile warranty like every other new GM car gets.
