Okay, if you read this vitriolic little piece, "Two waves of immigration, Poles apart" (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/columnists/giles_coren/article4399669.ece), he didn't exactly avoid making generalisations. However, people who complained about his comments didn't seem to accept that there have been many cases of Antisemitism in Poland's history (along with the history of many other countries) or acknowledge that his family fled persecution of the Jewish community in Poland. He particularly seems upset in his opinion of how, unlike Germany, Poland has not accepted responsibility for its history of Antisemitism.
