That's not aggressive or protective. That's untrained, spoiled, and fearful. Nothing a competent adult with a functional brain can't fix in a week. Tell her to buyba prong collar and POP the leash when he shows aggression towards people. Dog training isn't rocket science it's common sense...
 
...owner and therefore aggressive? My sisters dog can be a bit unpredictable and is protective of her, but I wonder if she was taken out of the equation if he wouldn't act differently. He is a Boston Terrier, possibly a mix, and gets along with other dogs but sometimes snaps, especially if he is tired or startled. She doesn't want to put him down but it seems no one wants a dog with that kind of history. Are there any special rescue groups for this type of case?
