Kind of...? ...Connie"?
Connie Francis had a terrific album of supper club music- very big band called A New Kind of Connie on MGM, produced by veteran producer Marty Paich. He was her finest performance, but is literally NOT in print. Is there anywhere to download this. I checked I tunes..nada. This lady was so damn versatile. She could sing the phone book. I was not that fond of her hits, but loved her other album material where her voice was terrific!
