Does anyone know what would cause an 2004 Toyota Tacoma to rattle?

I have a 2004 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner. When I first start it on a cold morning, it makes a rattling noise. It generally goes away after 2-3 minutes when the engine warms up. I suspect my problem maybe a belt.....Does anyone else have any theories?

Thanks!

Belts squeal, they don't rattle.
You probably have loose exhaust shields. Put hose clamps on them to tighten them up or remove them.
Tap on them with a piece of wood to find the ones which are loose.

My guess would be that upon first starting to run, your engine is not 'hitting' smoothly on all cylinders, and that that is causing a vibration in your exhausti piping -- thereby causing the rattling in loose bracket(s) somewhere. After a while when the engine warms up and begins to run smoothly, the rallting stops.
