Does anyone know what the abbreviations on a cbc result stand for?

There were a few things that were higher than normal. These numbers are from a test I had a year and a half ago. I just got my records. I tried googling it and didn't find an explanation. I know the first one is white blood cells but have no idea what the rest are.

WBC was 12.5 normal is 4.2-10.9

RDW was 15.0 normal is 11.5-14.5

POLY# was 9.2 normal is 1.4-6.5

MOMO was .60 normal is .11-.59

Anybody know what the last three stand for?

Hi, Jeffiner . . . RDW refers to differentiated width, which you may try looking up and be more successful.

I think where you have "MOMO" it should be "MONO". POLY generally refers to a collection or more than one, so POLY may be referring to your over-all cell counts of a certain type.

Hope this helps!

Thank you, yes MONO is right, :) . That was my own typo. It seems like that was the only one that was the most elevated. I guess it just shows infection.
