When I was a kid, I read a horror short story about four mentally disabled brothers, young boys, who kill their neighbor (a little girl) in the same manner in which they earlier saw their servant kill a chicken in the kitchen. I would like to know the title of this story.
I thought it was by Edgar Allan Poe, but I can't find anything like this in his bibliography, so I probably read it in a book that included horror stories by several authors, including a few by Poe, hence my confusion.
