Does anyone know what format to use for the US Cellular LG Banter touch?

I had recently got the LG Banter touch from us cellular and I was wondering what is the format for it.To play videos. I mean I know it is 3GP. But when i download it to my micro SD card and when I watch the videos it is very very slow. I would like to know how I can get the video to normal speed.
