I have had this issue for a few years now. I've been to a doctor to have tests done etc. and they have found nothing but a 'heart murmur.'
I am what many would consider "underweight," I am 5'11" and about 132 Ibs. I eat very well, never miss a meal, just have a super high metabolism.
I get this pain usually when i'm laying on the floor typing or something and propping myself up on my left elbow. It is a VERY sharp and sudden pain that feels like something is getting snagged in the area of my heart. It is very scary and only subsides if I stop taking deep breathes and get off of my left side.
I was just hoping someone out there would have experienced this before or know something about it. Could it be a lung issue and not my heart? Any insight will be much appreciated. Thanks.
p.s. I am 23 years old.
