Does anyone know the title and author of this book?

I read it a few years ago. The whole premise is that a large skeleton is found in a cave of a creature that slightly resembles a pterodactyl, and the workers move it to a different location. But while messing with the skeleton and using lasers to try and cut it out of the rock, it releases the spirit of a fallen angel, possibly Lucifer, who goes about and wreaks havoc. All help is appreciated.
