Does anyone know the Statute of Limitations on Rape in Iowa?

What if someone was raped when they were, like, three, but never told anyone because they were ashamed and felt like it was too late to tell, but when they were way older they remembered who it was again and it was causing them lots of problems? Could they get the guy in trouble? Or would it just be a lost cause?

Rape does have a limitation. I believe it is 7 years but it may vary. When it comes to child abuse and murder no such limitation exists.
