Does anyone know the name of the book with a guy who has a bag over his head?

Its a book that has a yellow cover I think. There is a picture of someone on the front with a paper bag over their head and the bag has several words on it (the title). It is in an episode of sex and the city, where the character Jack Berger is reading it in bed. The episode where Carrie finds out his book deal got dropped.

I have seen this book several times, but I cannot think of the name and its really bugging me!
 
Can't think what it is doing in an episode of Sex and the City, but could it have anything to do with John Merrick aka Elephant Man?
