While doing an inspection job in Kentucky my brother noticed a bottle in some dirt that was being dug up to lay pipe. He pulled out the bottle and it was really unique. The bottle had overlay which looked like fish scales all the way down. It had "BIG JACK" in an embossed square on the front. Around the bottom it says, "LIME-COLA BOTTLING CO." Around the very bottom it says, Madisonville, KY." It looks like it was a clear bottle and nothing painted. I can't wait to get it cleaned up, but meanwhile, I would also love to know the history of this company. I have gone on line and looked for a history on this bottling company and the drink and can find nothing. If there are any Kenucky historians or anyone else that can help me get this information, I sure would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
