Does anyone know the author of this book?

There is this book and it's called 'The Steps' and i don't know who the author is.The book is about a girl who has to move to Australia with someone in her family...i think it's her dad and the book cover is yellow and it has her in the middle with a bunch of lines from her, leading to all her family members and family of her family members and i think her mom has a baby and one of the family members on the front is "baby-to-be". Thank you
