-run a quarter of a mile
-do 20 jumping jacks
-run a quarter of a mile
-do 20 SIT-UPS (not crunches)
-run a quarter of a mile
-do 20 steam engines (youtube search that if you dont know what it is. it's a marine corps pt)
-run a quarter of a mile
-walk a quarter of a mile
(you can vary the activities in between runs, this is just a basic idea for you.)
do this consistently with a healthy diet and you'll see results FAST. it's important to always keep your feet moving during the running portions. even if you get tired, just keep your feet moving as if you're running even if it's the same speed as walking. you burn fat if you keep your heart rate up.
the diet to go along with it:
-no sugar
-no fast food
-limited carbs (they're natural caffeine but can turn into fat)
-nothing past 7:30 PM
-2 cups of fruit
-2 cups of veggies
-one serving of meat
-no pop (drink nothing but water to begin with. the more you drink, the more your body craves it, thus becoming healthier and more hydrated.)
also, when you run, concentrate your breathing. it's impossible to run when you sound like you're having an asthma attack. go slow, limit coordinate your breathing with your steps. for instance, breath in (4 steps), breath out (4 steps). as your runs increase in distance, it's okay to go down to every 3 steps.
one trick: you know you're in shape based off of how quickly you can catch your breath after a workout. strengthen your lungs and you can do anything for any amount of time.
