louisiana? I work at a commision based based job and with the economy in the condition its in I barely scrape by as it is, so saving up is rather impossible. My boyfriend of 2 years left when I told him I was pregnant, so I can't get any help from him. I do not qualify for FMLA and I am 4 months pregnant. I am trying to plan ahead for when I have to take off work during maternity leave. Does anyone know of anything I might qualify for to help pay the bills until I can return to work? I have never applied for any type of unemplyment or financial assistance.
