Does anyone know of any contemporary poets that are easy to write about?

I have to write a literary critique on a contemporary poet and i have to make the connection between their life and their poems so i'm thinking a depressed poet who writes depressing poetry would be the easiest to write about...or just any contemporary poet whose life directly affects their writing.

The beat poet Allen Ginsburg: he was incredibly obscene and he was a major influence during the sixties - including testifying at the trial of the Chicago Seven. He was a major gay guy and wrote poetry shot thru with gay sex back when he was a BIG no-no.
