My son has recently been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, he already has story books on the subject such as 'The Dinosaur Tamer' but now wants some kind of book that will explain why he has Diabetes, what it is, and what he can do to look after himself.
He has just turned 5 although can already read, any book that is simple to understand would be helpful as I can always read it too him if it is aimed at older kids. I just can't seem to find anything related to any of these areas!
Any help would be appreciated x
