...Royale series of Ascaron? I have been playing Port Royale 1 and 2 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Port_Royale_2) for about 5 years now, and am wondering if anyone knows of a game that has the same characteristics (trading, sea warfare, etc) but is a newer game with upgraded graphics etc.
I do know that Ascaron Entertainment has closed and they themselves won't be bringing out a third installment, but am hopeful a competitor has a good equivalent.
