Does anyone know if you can use the Pedal-A-Watt bicycle generator indoors?

I am wondering if I should get the Pedal-a-Watt bicycle generator, but I want to use it indoors for my television. Can I use it for my TV? Can I use it indoors? If not, do you know any other bicycle generators available that I can use indoors for my TV? Thanks!
