Does anyone know how to get fabric paint out of carpet?

I got some basic fabric paint in the plastic bottles from Wal-Mart to decorate some shirts, but today my cat chewed one of the bottles apart and now I have gold fabric paint on a tan carpet. Haha, any help or suggestions would be great. [:
 
I don't know what the paint is made of but I know you can buy products that will remove oil based paints, as well as latex paints, from carpets and other surfaces. Read the ingredients and talk to someone at a paint store, or take a similar bottle for them to see.
