I believe my starter dead, but I need to take it out and have it checked. Can anyone tell me how to change the starter for a 2004 Jeep Liberty?

My engine size is 3.7. My car wouldn't start and we had to have it towed. I am removing the battery and I am going to have it checked first. I also wanted to remove the starter and have it check when I have the battery checked, but I would like to have some kind of help/instructions on how to change the starter before I get started just in case that is what the problem is.
