Does anyone know how commission junction and The spider web marketing system works?

Hi, Can someone answer that question for me? i would like to earn some commission with commission junction? and how long do you get paid? and aslo when you apply and join with the company so you can advertise banners etc and advertise them, can you apply as many as you want to help advertise the company you can get the commissions? does it cost money to do so? And is anyone familiar with The spider Web marketing system? they have the video sometimes its useless because they cut things off and i think that they dont want to show you how properly? or how to earn those commissions? do you have to do those get traffic things to be able to earn money or its not important.
