Some of you might have heard about the Vestas workers on the Isle of Wight occupying the factory because the Danish company are shutting it down resulting in a loss of 600+ jobs
I live on the island, and there's about 500+ people down at the factory showing support for the 25 or so workers that are occupying the first floor of the factory
The workers have been in there a week now without any food, and i was gonna go down to the march tonight for it and take some food for them
But a few people have now been arrested for throwing food up to the workers... are the police allowed to legally arrest you for that? I mean.. do they actually have any grounds for arrest there?
Was just wondering cause if they are allowed to do it then i won't take any food cause i start a new job tomorrow and don't wanna have to phone up aand say that i can't come in because i've been arrested, and if they're not allowed to do it then i shall be kicking and screaming when they try to arrest me for it
Thanks guuuuys
