i'm writing a book in which i'd like the main character(s) to live in this city. i don't want to use my own city - though i have the most knowledge of it - because i don't want this to be some big personal story. anyway, i somewhat thought Shawnee was a peaceful, kinda rural city. if anyone lives there or knows anything about Shawnee, please tell me all you know!
for example, does Shawnee have any bodies of water (like lakes)? are there many farms/fields? what's the normal weather?
i know i could look up some of this myself, but it's always good to have extra information just in case...
