My mom taught me how to read with this set of books that were leather bound and made to look old. There were 8 or more books and they came in a box/boxes and they were specifically designed to teach kids how to read. The first book being the easiest level and when you were done with it you went on to the next book/level and so on and so on until you were done with the whole series and an expert reader also. Any ways this was about 25 years and they were such great books that I want to get a set for my daughter. I can't ask my mom what they were called because she died about 3 years ago and my dad doesn't even know what books I'm talking about. Hopefully someone out there knows something about what I'm talking about . Thank you for any leads you might be able to give me.
