my company has been working on a very small scale Rankine cycle turbine generator for several months, we have made great process, the system is completely built, the turbine runs, at 33 percent thermal efficiency! the only issue we have is we have gone through 6 feed pump designs in 2 months, we need someone who can take us to the next level, but as "mechanical engineer" is such a bastardized field, i have had no luck securing a mechanical engineer or process engineer that is familiar with the cycle enough to get us through to the next step, the turbine itself can run 10 yrs 24-7, but Im at the point where i may simply sell the unit with multiple replacement pumps that at best last 1000 hrs. if anyone knows an engineer that works on regenerative cycle turbines please help! Quality Stainless and Controls in Riverside California is the company contracted to complete the unit, but their expertise is lacking in this area.
