You can buy one from Tom Nook's shop, you know the fat Raccoon you were forced into slavery by? And as far as I know, there are no cheat codes for a normal fishing pole, but there are some for a Golden fishing pole. You enter codes by talking to Nook, selecting "options" then "codes" or something like that. Play around, you'll know you've found it when you get to a page with two black bars on it for entering the codes. Be sure to copy the codes exactly like they are written, with correct capitalization and all that.
