Hello.
I'm torn between the 2010 Chevy Equinox and the 2009 Ford Escape since I am moving to a small town with harsh winters. I know for a fact that the Escape is a reasonable capable vehicle in the winters partly due to it's 4x4 availability and good ground clearance. I was all set to get one....
Then out of the blue Chevy hits a home-run with the new 2010 Equinox. So far, the reviews I've had online (critics and owners from insideline.com) have been ecstatic...Though I still would like to hear more from 2010 Equinox owners (I haven't yet seen many on the road). How do you compare it to others? (I know the Chevy leapfrogs the Asians, but compared to the Escape?) Anyone test-drove the car and compared it to the Escape? I love the new interior, design, and Chevy's renewed design direction and attention to detail overall...just don't quite know how it stacks up with the 2009 Escape. I will be in rural-ish area where winters can be quite rough (Timmins, Ontario, Canada).
Any feedback will my greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, folks.
