I have seen on Brighton&Hove's council website that plans have been approved to remove it, but that was a while ago. The web (and the official west pier Trust web site) are quite out of date in reguards to the latest news. The i360 doesn't seem to of made much progress after I visited the pier a week ago!
Does anyone have the latest news on Brighton's West Pier?
