Does anyone have any tips for pointe strengthening exercises?

I've been on pointe for a few years, but I had to take a break because of a broken foot which is a little weak, but not as bad as I expected it to be. This was my right foot, but the biggest issue is actually with my left ankle. It feels really weak and can't support me the way it used to. I don't know why this is happening. I guess my biggest question is what do you recommend to help strengthen both issues.
