For the past few weeks my five month old puggle Bella has had a pink thing growing out of her vagina. It's been irritating her, and it definitely hurts her. So earlier this morning I took her to the vet, and after the examination we concluded that the pink thing is a penis. She has an emergency vet appointment on tuesday morning to get fixed. They will take out any form of hormones, so if she has testicles in her abdomen they will remove them, and they are also removing her ovaries. I know my dog is considered a "freak of nature", but does anyone else have a dog with this rare condition? Does anyone have any information about this condition? I'd really like to know, so I can get as much information about it so I can help my poor baby.
Yes, she was going to be fixed next month when she was six months old. She's my baby, but the vet said it is very rare. She herself had to do research all day, and then called me about eight hours after we left to give me some information about what we'll have to do. I'm just curious on other experiences or what other people have as far as information.
