Does anyone have any advice for a high school student wanting to be a lawyer?

I have wanted to be a lawyer all my life. I am a junior in high school and have kept my GPA 3.9 and up. I am most interested in political science for undergrad. I realize the work load and how competitive it is. Any advice to help me stand out is much appreciated.
 
Keep your grades and do well on LSAT. Get some interesting extracurriculars as an undergraduate. Apply to a law school in a different part of the country from where you got your undergrad degree. (Geographic distribution does help.)
