...project.? James William Ford was a vice presidential candidate in 1940 for the Communist Party. His former name was Fourche. He grew up in Pratt City, Alabama in 1893. I haven't been successful in finding a photo of this particular man. Thanks much. He is the first African American/Black/Negro vice presidential candidate in US History.
