usually are cooking with moist type heat. So how does the convection work? Is it just a fan blowing? There is a fan in a micro so I can't quite figure it out. I have had a Nesco roaster oven that had convection cooking with it and what that did was 'speed the baking' up and made things brown better and cook quicker.
What I would like to know is if a micro with convection is worth the money? Or if I want a convection oven should I get something else? I need the micro so thought I could 'kill two birds with one stone' so to speak. If you have one tell me about it, how you like it? Does it cook different? How? IS it worth the extra $$? What was your reason for getting this type of microwave? What brand do you have? What do you use your for? What types of things do you cook?
