I bought a honda fit because I had a 2 door honda civic. I'm also 36 weeks pregnant and just tried to install the infant car seat in the back of my new honda fit. The seats don't seem to accomodate an infant child seat too well. Does anyone else have this problem? The middle portion is raised so it seems the safest bet is to put the car seat on the right or left side and the seats are angled at an odd position that doesn't recline the infant car seat far enough so now I'm going to have to use towels to put under the base and force the chair to recline (that's what the instruction manuel says).
Does anyone have a HONDA FIT '09 and an infant car seat in back?
